The Autel MaxiIM IM508S is a 7-inch, Android-based touchscreen tablet with professional key and immobilizer programming functionality, all systems diagnostics, and an extensive service menu. Equipped with the XP200 key programmer, the IM508S key programming tool can perform key and immobilizer functions, including Key and Remote Control Learning and basic EEPROM and MCU Read and Write capabilities. The tablet, which features a quad-core processor and 64 G.B. onboard memory and runs on the powerful Android 11 operating system, offers faster bootup and operation speed.

The IM508S enables technicians to complete an all-systems diagnostic scan and read and erase codes, view Freeze Frame and Live Data on U.S., Asian, and European vehicles, 1996 and newer. The tablet also features an extensive menu of the most often performed maintenance and service tasks, including oil light reset, brake bleed, battery registration, steering angle sensor reset, and occupancy seat calibration. Autel MaxiIM IM508S also offers report cloud management, making saving and sharing reports easy.

The Autel XP200 Key Programmer is specially designed to read VW key chip data and generate exclusive keys, read/write on-board EEPROM data, and read/write Freescale 9S12 MCUs. When connected to the XP400 Pro (purchased separately), the IM508S key fob programmer can extend its capability to support IMMO functions such as Key Learning for BMW CAS4, and Programming functions such as IMMO ECU Read & Write, MC9S12 Encryption Chip Read & Write, IC Card Read & Write, Mercedes Infrared Key Read & Write, and Remote Frequency Detect.

Autel IM508S key fob programming tool can only program Autel I-KEYS and OEM keys, and cannot program I-KEYS for all vehicles. The IM508S offers bi-directional control and active test functions, which can send commands to the ECU to activate the actuators for directly monitoring their operation to quickly find out bad parts and pinpoint faulty issues.
