The IM508S provides OE-level full diagnostics, bidirectional control, and over 36 special services, including ABS, SRS, oil reset, BMS, throttle relearn, key programming, injector coding, and steering angle sensor adjustment. It supports 21 languages, catering to a wider user base.

When connected to the XP400 Pro key programmer (purchased separately), the IM508S can extend its capabilities to support advanced IMMO functions, such as BMW CAS4 key learning, and programming functions like IMMO ECU read and write, MC9S12 encryption chip read and write, and Mercedes infrared key read and write.
